Open to the Elements – A Year-Long Journey
Step into the rhythms of nature and your own inner landscape through our immersive year-long journey with the five elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. Each element offers its own season, qualities, and lessons, from the reflective depths of Water in winter, to the vibrant growth of Wood in spring, the radiant warmth of Fire in summer, the grounding abundance of Earth in late summer and autumn, and the clarifying, bittersweet wisdom of Metal in autumn. Through nature connection, creative practices, movement, and shared experiences in stunning locations around the bay, you’ll explore emotions, senses, systems thinking, and inner rhythms, cultivating resilience, insight, playfulness, and connection. This is a space to engage with the cycles of life, the natural world, and your own evolving story, celebrating the beauty and complexity of being human.

Course Dates: July 4th, 11th & 18th, 2026
Location: Torbay
Cost: It is our heartfelt wish to offer this course as authentically as we can and to anyone who is drawn to it. Therefore, we are offering it based on Dana. Dana is an ancient Pali word meaning generosity or giving and comes from the Buddhist tradition.
In practice, it means that at the end of the course, you will be asked to consider the value of the experience and teachings you have received and give what you can to ensure that courses can continue for others. There is no set price – just like all other aspects of our lives, each of our financial circumstances is unique. In the Dana tradition, the amount is less significant than the intention to enhance the lives of others. This is an intention which has kept the Buddhist tradition alive for the last 2,500 years, it is a commitment to our Collective well-being.
